Feeling that their rescue is close at hand, the survivors don't know whether to believe Charlie's final message that the people claiming to liberate them are not who they seem to be.

Hurley's flash-forward taught us that there is an Oceanic 6, meaning only 6 of our castaways make the news and get all famous and such. We also learn that Charlie, though dead, is still knocking around in Hurley's brain, and that Jack's awful beard was predetermined.
On-island, we watch everyone cry over Charlie's heroic death, and Jack unabashedly attempt to shoot Locke in the face. We learn that Jacob's cabin can go wherever it pleases now, whatever that means. Also, the castaways separate into two camps: some go with Jack, and some go with Locke.
Naomi's dudes land on the island, but we all know they suck.
LOST.
