So, in Ben's flashback, we got a small glimse of the island's history and a inadequate explanation of who the hostiles were (first mentioned in the Enter 77 episode ) We saw Richard in tattered clothing. However, something was not right about his age. That's because he has appeared to have escaped the aging process. Just been curious ever since then about the Island's anti-aging properties. That's very left field but I do believe that time and the Island have a very weird connection that has yet to be explained on the show. Any thoughts?

Richard is one of the more interesting characters on the show to me. We obviously know very little about him but he's so dynamic. Like, he seemed to be the leader of the "hostiles" but was very intrigued by Ben and somehow became under him in rank. In addition to that, he's obviously willing to do a lot for Ben (killing Juliet's husband) but has no qualms disagreeing with him either (giving Locke the file).

He definitely has a lot to offer, I can't wait to see more from him. Where did the hostiles come from? What's with the lack of aging? So many questions that a Richard flashback could answer.

I really want Richard to be featured more. He's a very interesting character. But for the record, the hostiles were first mentioned in Live Together, Die Alone.

the actor who plays richard just got his own show so he will not be appearing in any future lost episodes (unless his show gets canceled). its a pretty lame turn of events.
